Hi - we're Sherrie and Dave
We live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio with our dog, Nash. Our two children are grown and on their own, so we now are empty-nesters. We enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and rooting for our favorite local sports teams. Go Cavaliers, Indians and Browns!! We also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Why we chose Ambergris Caye:
We visited Ambergris Caye for our 25th wedding anniversary and immediately fell in love with La Isla Bonita! We have visited other Caribbean destinations, and enjoyed our experiences, but usually felt that they were "one time" vacation spots, and we would begin to think about the next place that we would like to visit. Then we came to Ambergris Caye and immediately asked each other, "when can we come back?" We loved the fact that there were no chain restaurants or hotels, and that we were just a short golf cart or bike ride into the town of San Pedro. The relaxing, low key atmosphere and friendly locals sealed the deal.
We used to look for "all inclusive" resorts, and the fact that Ambergris Caye does not offer this almost stopped us from checking it out, but it turns out that this is one of the best reasons to vacation here! Exploring all the island has to offer is half the fun! There are so many amazing restaurants and bars here, you will decide that you'll have to come back so that you can visit the ones that you missed!

The Grand Caribe Resort is a premier resort on the island with service second to none. The staff is amazing and will help in any way they can to make sure that your stay is enjoyable and suited to your needs.
The Belvoir building is the newest addition to the resort, with every condo being truly oceanfront. The views from the 3rd floor are spectacular! We hope you'll find our condo as comfortable as home , from the fully equipped kitchen to the local artwork displayed throughout.
